Bat inventory of Jackson County, Colorado
Prior to this inventory there was only 1 record of 1 bat species from this region of Colorado. That record was from the famous naturalist/ surgeon Eliott Coues during his travels through North Park in the late 1800s. No surprise this project uncovered a host of other bats using the habitats (urban and rural) of Jackson County.
