Disturbances

Scope Severity Immediacy
Low Low High
Summary Rank: G

Recreational climbing, water impoundment, forest fires, and quarry activity may lead to  rock crevice roosts being abandoned, which could be particularly important when dealing with maternity colonies.  However, direct evidence for this type of disturbance is currently lacking.  Local populations could be impacted by such activities so pre-construction surveys should be conducted.
