Ophioglossaceae (Adder’s Tounge Family)

Look Alikes: B. campestre has a broader and fleshier rachis, a more dense and fleshy sporangium mass, and overlapping or fused vegetative leaf segments.

Spore-Producing Period: Spores produced in June.

Habitat: Grassy slopes, among medium height grasses, along edges of streamside forests. Elev. 7900-9500 ft.
