Look Alikes: C. reevesiana has an ovate blade, long internodes on its rhizomes, and light brown rhizome scales.

Spore-Producing Period: June-November.

Habitat: Cliffs of the Weber Formation; on sandy ledges and in crevices. Elev. 5500 ft.
