Orchidaceae (Orchid Family)

Synonyms: Platanthera zothecina, Habenaria zothecina

Look Alikes: Distinct from other species by the spur length which is 1.5-2 times as long as the lip.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: July-August/late August-early September.

Habitat: Seeps, hanging gardens, and moist stream areas; surrounded by desert shrub to oak brush communities. Elev. 5300-6600 ft.
