Violaceae (Violet Family)
Look Alikes:
The glassy hairs on the upper leaf surfaces distinguish this
species.
Flowering/Fruiting Period: Flowers in May-June.
Habitat:
Cold mountain forests; moist woods and thickets. Elev. 8500-
9100 ft.
