Look Alikes: No other blue flowered Viola species in Colorado have leaves dissected into narrow lobes.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Flowers April-June.

Habitat: Prairies, open woodlands, and forest openings; rocky sites. Elev. 5800-8800 ft.
