Scrophulariaceae (Figwort Family)

Look Alikes: Difficult to distinguish from P. scariosus var. cyanomontanus and P. strictus, but different from these in having shorter corolla lengths (20-22 mm), and corollas with no glandular hairs.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Late May-June.

Habitat: Mixed desert shrub and pinyon-juniper communities, on sparsely vegetated shale slopes of the Green River Formation. Elev. 5000-7200 ft.
