Parnassiaceae (Grass-of-Parnassus Family)

Look Alikes: P. fimbriata and P. parviflora have larger petals with 5-13 veins, and a bract-like leaf on the stem.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: June-July/July-August.

Habitat: Subalpine and alpine wet, rocky ledges, in streamlets and moss mats. Elev. 10,000-12,000 ft.
