Limoniaceae (Thrift Family)

Synonym: Armeria maritima ssp. sibirica

Look Alikes: None. Superficially resembles Allium geyeri, which has three petals and three sepals.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Late June-early July/August.

Habitat: Grassy tundra slopes, wet, sandy or spongy organic soils. Elev. 11,900-13,000 ft.
