Synonym: Ipomopsis spicata ssp. capitata

Look Alikes: Not likely to be confused with any other alpine species.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: July-early August/August.

Habitat: Alpine ridgetops; gravelly, calcareous soils. Elev. 12,000-14,000 ft.
