Polemoniaceae (Phlox Family)
Look Alikes:
G. stenothyrsa is the only Gilia with cream-colored flowers.
Flowering/Fruiting Period:
Late May-June/late June-early July.
Habitat:
Silty to gravelly loam soils derived from the Green River or Uinta
Formations. In grassland, sagebrush, mountain-mahogany, or pinyon-juniper
communities. Elev. 5000-6000 ft.
