Look Alikes: Not likely to be confused with other species in same range and habitat.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Flowers July-August.

Habitat: Gravelly or sandy soil, often subalpine and alpine slopes, some-times montane grasslands. Elev. 8500-12,500 ft.
