Look Alikes: Not likely to be confused with other species in same habitat.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Late June-October/July-November.

Habitat: Poorly vegetated exposures of the Coalmont Formation. Steep-sided ravines, low sandy hills and bluffs. Elev. 8000-8500 ft.
