Look Alikes: Distinguished by its low, matted habit.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Flowers mid May-July.

Habitat: Dry sandy loam washes and exposed ridges in ponderosa pine or mixed shrub communities. Elev. 5700-7300 ft.
