Fabaceae (Pea Family)

Look Alikes: A. wetherillii resembles A. sabulonum, but differs in having strictly appressed pubescence on the leaves and pods. The pods of A. wetherillii are also elevated on a stalk.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Flowers early May-late June.

Habitat: Steep slopes, canyon benches, and talus under cliffs. In sandy clay soils derived from shale or sandstone. Grows with sagebrush and juniper. Elev. 5250-7400 ft.
