Look Alikes: A. lonchocarpus has cream to white flowers and dorsiven-trally compressed pods.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Late June-July/July-early August.

Habitat: On volcanic substrates in open-canopy ponderosa pine-Arizona fescue savannah, or along the edges of mixed coniferous woodlands where Festuca arizonica is dominant. Elev. 8200-9300 ft.
