Look Alikes: Not likely to be confused with other species in northwestern Colorado.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Flowers late May-August. Fruit often persistent over winter on dead stems.

Habitat: Gullies and flats in seleniferous soils. Elev. 6000-7000 ft.
