Fabaceae (Pea Family)

Synonym: Lonchophaca duchesnensis

Look Alikes: A. convallarius has shorter pods (10-12 mm in length) and flowers that are greenish-white and tinged with purple.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Flowers late April-June.

Habitat: Pinyon-juniper woodlands and desert shrub communities; around sandstone or shale outcrops. Elev. 4600-6400 ft.
