Capparaceae (Caper Family)
Look Alikes:
C. serrulata is more robust, with wider leaflets (5-10 mm),
larger flowers with stamens exceeding the petals, and larger fruit.
Flowering/Fruiting Period:
June-August.
Habitat:
Saline or alkaline soils; around ponds, meadows, or old lake beds.
Often grows in bands just above rushes and extending into greasewood and
saltgrass. Elev. 7500-8000 ft.

Mexico, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming and
Colorado (Alamosa, Costilla, Rio Grande and Saguache Cos.).
