Brassicaceae (Mustard Family)

Synonyms: B. humilis ssp. ventosa, B. humilis var. humilis Look Alikes: B. glabella has white to purple tinged flowers, short thick capsules, and a leafless stem.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: July/late July-August.

Habitat: Calcereous soils (Leadville Limestone or Manitou Dolomite), exposed slopes, solifluction lobes, scree slopes; slightly disturbed microsites. Elev. 11,400-12,800 ft.

Distribution: Alaska, Alberta, British Columbia; east to Greenland, Newfoundland, and Vermont. Disjunct in central Colorado in Chaffee, Gunnison, Park, Pitkin, and Summit Cos.
