Look Alikes: H. floribunda has stems that are leafy throughout, hirsute, pilose or otherwise pubescent; but hairs are not pustulose.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: May-June/June.

Habitat: Shady canyons and mesa tops; in deep loam or sandy-loam soil; associated with pinyon-juniper and scrub oak communities. Elev. 7000- 8000 ft.
