Boraginaceae (Borage Family)

Synonym: Cryptantha aperta

Look Alikes: O. longiflora has long flower petals that extend beyond the sepals. O. aperta has not been collected since 1892.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: May/June. Only two known collections were made, one of a flowering individual in May, and another of a fruiting individual in June, 1892.

Habitat: Unknown; not documented with the only two collections.


Distribution: Colorado (Mesa Co., in the vicinity of Grand Junction).
