Look Alikes: None, this species is the only member of this genus in Colorado.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Flowers late July-August.

Habitat: Gravelly tundra or scree slopes; exposed sites with poorly developed soils derived from Leadville Limestone and Manitou Dolomite. Elev. 10,500-14,300 ft.
