Look Alikes: Distinguished by its glaucous, pinnately compound leaves with 1 opposite pairs of lateral primary leaflets that are deeply toothed to lobed.

Flowering/Fruiting Period: Late April-May/late May-early July.

Habitat: Cold desert shrub, sagebrush, and juniper communities; sandy clay and clay semi-barrens of Mancos and Morrison shales; Morrison, Uintah, Wasatch and Green River formations. Elev. 4700-6800 ft.
